The box carcass is made of combination of mahogany and
oak with oak keys. The lid features burly cherry wood in mahogany
frame.
The box is finished with Danish oil and beeswax.
The box has a removable tray to store foreign coins. The
current design allows for up to ten foreign currencies - too little for
the travel I made in the past and a bit too much now as most of European
currencies are gone and replaced with Euro.
Below the removable tray, the box has a number of
compartments that hold various foreign banknotes.
